One Moment

I knew in one moment

The one where you slammed on breaks

Throwing your car into park

Barely finished switching gears

(Literally and figuratively)

And my face was in your hands

Mouth open and hungry for mine

Kissing me like I was your first

(Or last)

I knew in the moment

When my heart dropped like a stone

Into a cold pool between my legs

The beat melting my icy exterior

Warming to your touch

Desire coursing through my veins

Young and in lust

Wanting more and more of each other

Finally breaking apart

And for one moment

All he could see was me

And for a moment

That was all I needed
